By placing your order, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to the below terms:
Transfer of Title & Risk
Once your order is shipped from our Ontario facility, the shipping carrier becomes responsible for the safe and timely delivery of your parcel. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier takes possession of the shipment.
We carefully package all orders and use reliable carriers. If your order is delayed, damaged, or lost in transit, please contact the carrier directly.
Please note that Shipping Fees are Non-Refundable for shipments that have left our warehouse.
Written Agreements Govern
By completing your purchase, you agree that all terms and policies published on our website or provided at checkout constitute the binding agreement between you and Liv Outside.
- Verbal statements or discussions by employees, sales representatives, or agents are not legally binding.
- Any exceptions must be documented in writing and signed or emailed by an authorized representative of Liv Outside.
Refunds
We offer a refund or exchange within 15 days of purchase on regularly priced items in the condition they were purchased. Sale items are eligible for store credit or exchange only. Clearance items discounted by 20% or more are final sale.
To process refunds or store credit purchases, we require customer account information at the time of purchase. No refunds are offered on our outdoor activities, rentals, or services.
Order Cancellations & Fees
Please review your order carefully. If you need to cancel, email us immediately at [email protected] with your Order Number. We’ll guide you on the next steps.
Important:
- Please note that we have a 2.6% cancellation fee for any Customer initiated order refund requests. This fee covers non-refundable payment processing charges that are not returned to us by the payment provider at the time of refund.
- Refunds will be issued minus the 2.6% fee.
- Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled.
- If you are unsure about your order, please reach out before placing it.
Damaged or Defective Items
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If any item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, email us immediately at [email protected] with your Order Number. We’ll guide you on the next steps.
Important:
- We cannot accept items damaged during installation, misuse, or excessive wear.
- For defective products, we will help you pursue the brand’s warranty. Often, contacting the manufacturer directly is faster, but we’re happy to assist.
Returning an Item
- You may return unused items in their original packaging within 15 days of receipt. Clearance items are FINAL SALE.
- To return an item, email [email protected] with the item(s) you wish to return. Items sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Restocking Fees
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns.
- If your original shipping, handling, or return-related fees exceed 15% of the order purchase price, the higher amount applies.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
Refused or Missed Deliveries
- Carriers typically attempt delivery multiple times before returning the package to us.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable once a package leaves our warehouse.
- Refusing a delivery does not cancel your order. Once returned, the package will be processed as a return, and restocking fees will apply.
- We are billed return shipping fees by the carrier, and these charges match the original shipping counter rate we paid. Return carrier shipping fees will be deducted from your refund.
Exchanges of Products
- A 10% Handling + Any Associated Shipping Fees apply to all exchanges.
- You are responsible for the cost of returning the exchanged item to us.
Non-Returnable Items
- Certain items, such as boats, complete bikes, some wearables and underwear, cannot be returned.
- ALL CLEARANCE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE.
- Items discounted by 20% or more are final sale.
FAQs
When Will I receive my refund?
Once we receive, review and approve your returned item(s), we will promptly issue the refund to the same credit card used to make the purchase; please allow 7-10 days for the return to show on your credit card statement.
The Item I ordered was not compatible with my Bike?
With over 25 years of cycling experience we try to offer you the best recommendations for choosing the correct items for your bike but we are only as good as the info we are provided and cannot be held responsible for items that don't work.
Our return policy above will still apply to any non-compatible components so please ensure you check your item within the 15-day period for returns.
Returns
How to Return
In-Store:
Visit us in person at a Liv Outside store. Bring the unused items along with a copy of the invoice/receipt you received.
By Mail:
Notify us by email at [email protected] before returning your item, specifying whether you are requesting an exchange or a refund. We accept mailed returns for 15 days from the original date of purchase.
Package the item(s) securely, and clearly write your invoice number (INV-#####) on the outside of the box. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless there is a defect or error on our part.

Once received and inspected, we will notify you via email. Refunds can take up to 5 business days to appear on your credit card statement. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order received "Free Freight" the original shipping costs will be charged as a restocking fee.
Damaged or Shipping Errors
Inspect your items upon receipt. For items damaged in shipping or if we shipped you the wrong item, please email [email protected] within 7 days of receipt. Contact us before returning the item so we can assist with return shipping charges.
Defective Items
We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Most products come with manufacturer warranties if you find an issue following use. If you find a defect on a new product we offer return or replacement within 30 days. You can opt for an immediate replacement (if in stock), store credit, or return the item to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. Include pictures of the defect and note the purchase date if possible.
International Sales
We are currently not offering shipping outside of Canada.
